Dual PhD candidate in English and Women's Studies

Yi-Ting Chang moved to the United States in 2015 to pursue a dual doctoral degree in English and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her research interests include Asian/American and Transpacific studies, decolonial feminist theory, and environmental humanities. She enjoys traveling and meeting new people. Aside from research, she is fond of creative pedagogy. She created the blog Writing: A Meeting of Minds ( to encourage her students to write outside of the classroom. She enjoys working with the local community and makes her students apply what they have learned to life outside the classroom and beyond school.
